One of the lesser known Scottish Gangs probably because they were inactive from Sundown on a Friday night. When I first heard of them I was thinking of Yiddish gang cries echoing through the Gorbals as far as Govan, “Ben-Gurian Ya Bas”. Maybe in the past, but by the 60's their patch was in the Giffnock and Newton Mearns, mostly Sellic supporters at that time as Ibrox was then was surrounded by people selling right wing papers, just like now. The alternatives to this view is simple. There were no Jews in Scotland until the mid 19 th century.
